Elevated 14th Avenue Station

Pedestrian-focused realms will be implemented around the potential station entrances. The borders of this realm are located with Northwest Fifty-sixth Street to the north, Eleventh Avenue Northwest to the east, Northwest Fifty-fourth Street to the south, and Fifteenth Avenue Northwest to the west. Existing crosswalks to the proposed Ballard – Elevated Fourteenth Avenue station area are located at the crossroads of Fifteenth Avenue Northwest and Northwest Market Street and Fourteenth Avenue Northwest and Northwest Market Street. Current bus routes run east and west on Northwest Market Street and north and south on Fifteenth Avenue Northwest and north and south on Fourteenth Avenue Northwest south of Northwest Market Street. Active bus bays include a location on each side of Fourteenth Avenue Northwest of Northwest Market Street and Northwest Fifty-fourth Street, and on the north and south side of Northwest Market Street east adjacent the Fourteenth Avenue Northwest and Northwest Market Street crossroad. A paratransit stop is located on the east side of Fourteenth Avenue Northwest between Northwest Fifty-sixth Street and Northwest Market Street. Existing bicycle facilities exist north and south on Eleventh Avenue Northwest and east and west on Fifteenth Avenue Northwest. Future bicycle facilities exist north and south on Northwest Market Street. Existing bicycle and personal mobility storage is located east adjacent Fourteenth Avenue Northwest between Northwest Fifty-third Street and Northwest Fifty-fourth Street, on the east and west side of Fourteenth Avenue Northwest between Northwest Fifty-fourth Street and Northwest Market Street, and on the east side of Fourteenth Avenue Northwest between Northwest Fifty-sixth Street and Northwest Fifty-seventh Street. Pick-up and drop off sites for automobiles are located on northwest corner and southeast corner of the Fourteenth Avenue Northwest and Northwest Fifty-fourth Street crossroad, as well as the southeast corner of the Fourteenth Avenue Northwest and Northwest Fifty-fourth Street crossroad.
