Tunnel Republican Street Station (associated with the 5th Avenue and Harrison Alternative)

The tunnel guideway for this new station runs east and west along Republican Street. The station is located on Republican Street at the intersection of Republican Street and Warren Avenue North, with the Climate Pledge Arena directly to the south. There are two entry points for this station alternative. One is located west of the intersection of Republican Street and Second Avenue North, and one is located on Second Avenue North between Mercer Street and Republican Street. A pedestrian-focused realm will be implemented around the potential station. This area is on Republican Street, going east from Queen Anne Avenue North, on Warren Street going from Mercer Street to Republican Street, and on Second Avenue North going from Mercer Street to Thomas Street. Pedestrian connections will be north and south on Second Avenue from Mercer Street to Thomas Street, east and west on Republican Street from Warren Avenue North going east, and going slightly south of the intersection of Republican Street and Warren Street going towards the Climate Pledge Arena. Existing crosswalks and signaled intersections are located at every intersection on Roy Street, West Roy Street, Mercer Street and Harrison Street, as well as at the intersection of Republican Street and Queen Anne Avenue North, and Republican Street and First Avenue North. Bus routes run north on First Avenue South until Roy Street, north and south on Queen Anne Avenue North, east and west on Mercer Street, on First Avenue West between Roy Street and Mercer Street, and north on First Avenue West beginning on Mercer Street. There is a paratransit stop located east of the intersection of Republican Street and Queen Anne Avenue North. There are two pick-up and drop off sites for automobiles. One is located north of the intersection of Republican Street and First Avenue West, and one is located south of the intersection of Harrison Street and First Avenue West. Current bicycle facilities are located going west on West Roy Street, east on Roy Street, and east on Republican Street from Queen Anne Avenue North to Warren Avenue North. Future bicycle facilities run north and south on Queen Anne Avenue North, east on Thomas Street beginning on Queen Anne Avenue North, and west on Harrison Street beginning at Queen Anne Avenue North. Bicycle and personal mobility storage are located east of the intersection of Republican Street and Warren Avenue North, and on the southeast corner of the intersection of Republican Street and Queen Anne Avenue North. Parks and public space are located south of Republican Street and east of Second Avenue North. A potential transit oriented development is located on the southeast corner of the Queen Anne Avenue North and Republican Street crossroad.

There is a fifth entry that is through a potential joint development that is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Mercer Street and First Avenue North. A pedestrian-focused realm will be implemented around the potential station. This area is on Mercer Street going from Second Avenue North to First Avenue West, Warren Avenue North going north from Republican Street, Second Avenue North going north from Mercer Street, and on First Avenue North going from Mercer Street to Roy Street.
