Sound Transit is studying the following station alternatives in Westlake.
- Tunnel 5th Avenue Station (associated with the 5th Avenue and Harrison Alternative) (Preferred alternative)
- Tunnel station under 5th Avenue between Pine Street and Pike Street
- Tunnel 6th Avenue Station (associated with the 6th Avenue and Republican Alternative)
- Tunnel station under 6th Avenue between Pine Street and Olive Way
Tunnel 5th Avenue Station (associated with the 5th Avenue and Harrison Alternative) (Preferred alternative )

Pedestrian Access – Key features
- West entrance on the northeast corner of the 4th Avenue and Pine Street intersection
- North entrance on the southwest corner of the 5th Avenue and Pine Street intersection
- South entrance on the southwest corner of the 5th Avenue and Pike Street intersection
- Underground access between existing and proposed Westlake stations
